Storage Terms and Conditions
If we agree to store your goods, this will be subject to the following terms and conditions.
1 General
1.1 If you are hiring on behalf of a business or organisation you confirm that you have the necessary authority to enter into this contract on behalf of that business or organisation, and that you will indemnify us against all losses and expense which may be incurred if this is not the case.
1.2 We reserve the right to decline some or all of your requirements, for any reason.
2 Contract
2.1 You may place your hire order with us by website, email, phone, fax, mail or in person.
2.2 You will be provided with a copy of these terms and conditions, which must be signed and returned to Box Clever prior to on hire. If keys are not returned when the container is off hired there will be a charge at Box Clever’s discretion.

2.4 The authorities have statutory powers with which they can enter and search your storage facility.
3 Hire Charges
3.1 Charges will start from the day of hire and finish on the last full week. We require an advance payment.
3.2 You agree to reimburse us for all costs in connection with cleaning and repairing if not left clean and completely empty as you found it.
4 Payment
4.1 We require one months advance payment, you then continue to pay either weekly or monthly always in advance.
4.2 We accept payment by cash, credit or debit card, cheque, PayPal or BACS transfer.
4.3 Where any payment is not made we are entitled to put you on stop, restricting your access to your container until payment is received.
4.4 After a 3-month period of non payment (at Box Clever’s discretion), we will take necessary action to dispose of your goods and charge accordingly and will seek reimbursement via legal action.
5 Cancellation
5.1 You are not required to give notice before off hiring but must be up to date with payments and leave the container empty and clean as you found it and return the key and ID cards.
6 Your Responsibilities
6.1 You will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that the container is not damaged or misused during your hire period.
6.2 You must adhere to site rules and regulations atall times.
6.3 You are prohibited from storing; explosives or hazardous goods, firearms or ammunition, toxic pollutant or contaminated goods.
6.4 This clause 6 shall not affect your statutory rights or seek to exclude liability, which cannot be excluded under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.
7 Liability
7.1 We take no responsibility for any loss or damage of your goods whilst in storage.
7.2 Where appropriate, you must ensure that your stored goods are adequately covered by insurance which fairly represents their true value.
